If the medication is prescribed and dispensed through an enrolled medical weight loss practice that bills it directly, it may be covered. Medications billed by a standalone pharmacy are typically not eligible.
Can I use Advance Care Card for bariatric surgery?
Yes, at enrolled bariatric surgery centers. Procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass are eligible. Applicants with excellent credit may qualify for limits up to $25,000 or more, which can cover a significant portion of the procedure cost.
What if the cost of bariatric surgery exceeds my Advance Care Card limit?
You can apply with a co-signer to increase your available limit. Alternatively, you could use Advance Care Card to cover part of the cost and arrange additional financing separately through your provider.
